Hydrocortisone, the same anti-itch ingredient found in human medications, relieves minor itching in localized areas when you need to take care of your pet's itching immediately.
Lidocaine belongs to the family of medicines called local anesthetics. When lidocaine is applied to the skin, it produces pain (and itch) relief by blocking the signals at the nerve endings in the skin.
