Signature Series Drs. Foster & Smith Chicken & Brown Rice Formula Senior dry dog food contains the healthy nutrition vital to keeping your senior dog looking and feeling great. REAL CHICKEN, the first ingredient in our doctor's formula, provides high quality protein and amino acids to support healthy tissues. A wholesome combination of fruits and vegetables, and Omega-3 & -6 fatty acids, and many other healthy ingredients support healthy muscle tone, immune system, skin, and coat. Contains 21% protein, 10% fat, and 4.5% fiber.

For senior dogs: small- and medium-breed dogs (less than 50 pounds) over 8 years of age, and large- and giant-breed dogs over 6 years of age.

Feeding Guidelines

4-3/4 cups plus 1/2 cup for each 20 lbs. over 100 lbs.

*Use a standard 8 oz. liquid measuring cup. An 8 oz. cup = 3.8 oz. by weight. If feeding multiple meals, divide daily amount into equal portions.

Your dog's requirements may vary from the above feeding guide. Weigh your dog monthly, consult with your veterinarian and adjust quantities as necessary to maintain optimal weight. When in ideal body condition, your dog should have a slight waist behind the ribs when viewed from above. If you're unsure about how much to feed your dog, seek veterinary/professional advice.

If feeding Drs. Foster & Smith dog food for the first time, gradually adjust your dog's current diet to avoid stomach upset. Mix 1/4 part Drs. Foster & Smith food with current food for 2-3 days. Gradually increase the new food and decrease current food over 7-10 days until you are feeding all Drs. Foster & Smith food.

Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.
