Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  How do I measure do get the right size collar?
A.  To get the right size collar for your dog, measure your pet's neck, than add 2-1/2 to 3 inches. This will insure the collar will fit your dog's neck. Quick-Klip collars are adjustable and range in sizes between 9-30 inches, so it's easy to find the right size for your pet.

Q.  What’s the difference between single-ply and double-ply?
A.  The difference between single ply and double ply collars is the thickness of the nylon. Single-ply is one layer of nylon, while double-ply is two. The double-ply collars are made thicker so they work better for larger pets. The single-ply collars are thinner for the smaller dog. Both collars are made with Dura-Ruff Nylon and are strongly stitched so they will last and last.

Q.  Which is better, the Quick-Klip, or the Buckle Collar?
A.  Both the Quick-Klip and the Buckle Collars are made with Dura-Ruff Nylon and are very sturdy and guaranteed for life. The Quick-Klip is adjustable and perfect for puppies. The Buckle Collar features solid brass hardware.

Q.  How strong is the clip on the Quick-Klip Collar?
A.  Our Quick-Klip Collars are made with hard plastic closures that easily stay closed; the clip itself is very durable and can withstand extreme pressure. Quick-Klip Collars are guaranteed for life not to break or come open on their own.

Q.  Why is there plastic on the buckle collar?
A.  The plastic on the buckle collar is used to help hold the extra slack from the collar.

Q.  Can nameplates be attached to them?
A.  Nameplates can be attached to the buckle collar.

Q.  Can this collar be used as an Innotek replacement collar?
A.  Yes, these collars may be used with Innotek Bark Collar and Training Collar receivers. Simply drill holes where the receiver would attach, then sear the holes with a match to prevent unraveling.
