AquaFXReplacement filters for AquaFX Engineering 3-Stage Dolphin RO Unit, 4-Stage Barracuda RO/DI and most standard RO and RO/DI units.

10" 1 Micron Sediment Filter (Stage 1)
Ideal RO & RO/DI pre-filter for any city or well water! Fine-weave filter captures smaller sediment in the water without premature clogging. First Stage Replacement on most standard RO Systems. Very important for De-Chlorination systems to keep sediment off of carbon surface area.

For Dolphin RO & Barracuda RO/DI Systems.

10" Carbon Block (Stage 2)
Perfect RO & RO/DI pre-filter for residential and commercial water purification systems, both for tanks and other applications. 10" Carbon Block is rated for approx 3,750 gallons of water at 2ppm Chlorine (Cl). Aqua FX Carbon Block filters are perfect for chlorine removal, VOC (volatile organic compound) removal and elimination of herbicides, pesticides and other contaminants.

The worst thing you can do is neglect your carbon block and allow Chlorine to come into contact with your TFC RO Membrane. At that point, you will need to purchase a new RO Membrane as the old one will be ruined. Don't wait until it's too late - change your pre-filters!

For Dolphin RO & Barracuda RO/DI Systems.

50 & 100 GPD Membranes (Stage 3)
TRUE Thin Film Composite (TFC) Reverse Osmosis Membrane from Aqua FX. Dow Chemical Company TFC sheets have been tested as being the best material for membrane applications and are the ONLY membranes used by Aqua FX. 50 GPD is rated for 50 gallons per day and 100 GPD is rated for 100 gallons per day, both with a stabilized salt rejection of 98.6%.

Will fit any standard RO membrane housing, so you can "upgrade" existing RO and RO/DI system with an AquaFX RO membrane.

For Dolphin RO & Barracuda RO/DI Systems.

10" Deionization (DI) Filters (Stage 4)
Mixed bed, Deionization (DI) filter for final polishing of RO water, emergency fast water production and tap water purifier replacements. Changes color to indicate exhaustion.

For Barracuda RO/DI Systems only.

10" Silicate Blaster DI (Stage 4)
Silicate Blaster DI cartridge designed for water supplies with heavy silicates. Mixed Bed DI resin paired with Silicate Blaster DI resin provides exceptional removal of silicate.

For Barracuda RO/DI Systems only.

Reduce Maintenance Time and Improve Aquarium Health
You may think your tap water is perfect because it looks clear, tastes good, and is odor-free. But you cannot see, taste, or smell all of the minerals, bacteria, nutrients, and chemicals present in your water. Unfortunately, these incidental compounds can cause problems in the aquarium, such as excessive algae growth, improper pH levels, and livestock losses. The best way to ensure your water is free from potentially harmful elements is to use a Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit.

How Reverse Osmosis units Work
RO units create purified water by forcing pressurized tap water through a semi-permeable membrane. The membrane only allows very small molecules (such as H2O) to pass through it, effectively removing up to 99% of most water impurities.
