From the maker of Cosequin®, Dasuquin offers cats comprehensive joint health management with a unique, proprietary blend of ASUs (avocado/soybean unsaponifiables), decaffeinated tea, glucosamine hydrochloride, and chondroitin sulfate.
Dasuquin offers strong joint support for cats of all sizes. Dasuquin's specific glucosamine hydrochloride and low-molecular-weight chondroitin sulfate have demonstrated synergy in stimulating the production of cartilage, while ASUs also complement the performance of glucosamine.
ASUs, obtained from avocados and soybeans, have been shown to protect cartilage, which leads to improved joint function. ASUs complement the effects of the other ingredients. Dasuquin's trademarked glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin sulfate, and ASUs together were shown in cell studies to be better than the combination of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate alone at inhibiting expression of several agents involved in cartilage breakdown.
Dasuquin for Cats is available in a tasty, easy to administer capsule with natural chicken and tuna flavors. Either give capsule directly or open capsule and sprinkle the contents on your cat's food.

Initial Period - 4 to 6 weeks
Cats under 10 lbs - 1 capsule sprinkled on food daily
Cats 10 lbs and over - 2 capsules sprinkled on food daily
Capsules may be given once or twice a day depending on your cat's feeding schedule. Once desired response is obtained, capsules may be administered every other day to maintain your cat. Number of capsules administered may be increased at any time depending on your cat's needs. A maintenance level can also be used long-term on healthy cats to help support their joints.
Capsules may be given directly, or added to your cat's food. Just break open the capsule and sprinkle contents on food. If your cat eats dry food, the food may be moistened with a small amount of water so that the powder sticks. Alternatively, the contents of the capsules may be mixed with a small amount (i.e., tablespoon) of wet or moist food to ensure your cat eats the entire amount.
